Beauty and the Beast Auditions

Hey all,
This coming Tuesday--(23rd) is auditions for Beauty and the Beast. All elementary kids are invited to audition and I hope you do!! The auditions are at Reedom Elementary in mountains edge. If you cant bring your kiddo let me know and I'll take them. I'm the director and it's gonna be a lot of fun. The show is in June. If you have any questions call me or post it or whatever.

PARK PLAYGROUP (Kite Flying)

We have been having some lovely weather and it should stay nice through next week so I think we can head to the park.

When: Friday Feb. 19th at 9:30 am
Where: Nevada Trails Park

Hoping we might have a small breeze bring a kite to fly! You can get them for $1.00 at walmart and the kids will have so much fun! Also if you want bring a picnic lunch, I know I will! Hope to see you all there!

Valentine Playgroup

When: Friday Feb. 12 @ 9:30 am


Where: Church Gym



Bring the kids for a fun Valentine activity, we will be doing some sort of craft (still thinking about what) and exchanging Valentines so please bring some to exchange!

Relief Society Meeting

Just a reminder that there is going to be a Relief Society Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 11th at 7pm at the church. There will be card and chocolate making. There will be a nursery provided for kids 18 months and older. Hope to see everyone there!!

Playgroup!

Hey Ladies! I have been asked to take over the playgroup duties and I am very excited. My mind has been racing trying to figure out some fun activities that we can do over the course of the year and hopefully we will have a schedule up soon! (Any suggestions are welcome of course!) I am pretty sure that we will have playgroup at least twice a month and if we get a good turn out we can always up the frequency again. I know we have a lot of new moms in the ward and playgroup is a great way to meet and get to know each other.

Next week on Wed. the 27th we are going to go to Pump it Up. The open jump hours are 9:30-12:30 so lets meet there at 9:30 and of course you can leave when you want. 2 and under are free and 3 and up are $7.00 per kid....but if we get enough of a turnout we can buy a punch card and get in for $5.00 per kid. I will make an announcement on Sunday but please spread the word!!

Hula classes

My friend, Uila (wheela), is starting to teach Hula classes in her home. The classes will begin in February. There will be a class on Mondays from 11-11:30 for 4-5 year olds. There will also be a class for 14 and older on Monday from 4-4:30. I know there are a few of you out there who want to come and shake your stuff, this is your big chance.
