Lisa Brown Baptism

I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that Lisa Brown is getting baptized this Saturday November 29 at 3 pm at our ward building on Twain. Please come if you are in town. She needs a strong support system as we all do. She is very excited, come share in the excitement!

Popcorn Recipe....

Hi Ladies... Here is the recipe for my oh so good popcorn. It is VERY easy...

Enjoy!!!!!!


Ingredients:

Orville Redenbacher's (Tender White)
Wilton Candy Melts (you can find it at Walmart or Michael's)

Directions:

1 bag of popcorn for every 1/2 bag of candy melts.

Melt candy in 30 sec. increments. Stir until smooth.
Pour over popcorn and mix well.
Lay over a flat surface to dry for 30 minutes or longer.

I usually make two bag of popcorn and melt one entire bag of candy.

Join us for our Around the World Progressive Dinner this Thursday. We will meet at Canarelli Middle School (7808 S. Torrey Pines) at 6:15 to carpool since parking at the homes will be limited. Here's the schedule for those of you who want to join us later in the evening.

6:30 pm: Natalie Burbidge's home (6788 Bravura Ct.). The theme is Asian foods.

7:00 pm: Debbie Simpson's home (8055 Coronado Coast St.). The theme is European foods.

7:30 pm: Jenn Eckersley's home (7752 Spindrift Cove St.). The theme is American and Pacific Island foods.

8:00 pm: Shayne Randall's home (6676 Enchanted Cove St.). The theme is desserts from around the world.

One minor detail we seem to be missing is FOOD! We need sisters to bring European (pastas, breads, antipasta, etc), Asian (potstickers, eggrolls, noodles), Salads, and Desserts (absolutely anything your heart desires. You can drop it off at the homes at 6 pm or bring it with you from house to house.

If you're able to bring food, please let us know via a comment what you can bring so we don't duplicate. Hope to see you all Thursday night!

Hey Moms.... I have a ton of girl clothes that I need to get rid of. 2 huge bins full!! Sizes range from Newborn to 3T and shoes. I would love to let any of you who would like them to come take what you want and I will donate the rest.

Free picture book

Hello ladies,

My mom called me today and told me that today on Oprah there was a discussion about de-cluttering your house. One of the things that was mentioned was making a picture book from all your kids drawings and then discarding the loose papers. If you go to Oprah's webpage you can get a FREE picture book from Snapfish. You have to act quickly because the coupon needs to be obtained by tomorrow and then the book actually ordered by Sunday. You still have to pay for shipping and handling, but a the actual book is free (a $29.99 value).

Wednesday, November 12th, 11 am: Storytime at Town Square Park. Bring a picnic for lunch afterward.

Friday, November 14th, 10 am: Bellagio Conservatorium. Meet at the Taco Bell (0n Jones) parking lot at 10am to caravan over there. Bring some money for gelato if you'd like.
