Girl's Night - Tomorrow Night!

Anyone in need of some playtime without the kids (except I will probably bring my tiny, sorry) then join us tomorrow night. We'll meet at Tony Alamo Elementary (Torrey Pines & Eldorado) at 6:30pm tomorrow night (Thursday 7/31). Then we will go to dinner at Town Square (to be decided, put in your vote - some suggested Claim Jumper, CPK, or Brio Tuscan Grille) and hit the 8:30 showing of Mama Mia. Come for part or all. Spread the word and we will see you tomorrow.

And for those still out of town - we definitely need to do another one in August and every month after that. Gotta have some girl time.

Wednesday Playgroup (July 30)

Hey Girls.

I know that some of you have been going to the movies on Wednesdays, but I am going to go swimming here at the Peaks pool at 9:30 for those of you who would rather swim. (I use the one further South in the neighborhood...) I'll also send out an email about the time for those who don't check the blog that often.

Also, with the trip to the Children's Museum, I think that would be a really fun idea, but if there are a lot of people who would like to do this, let's get an actual list going so we can get the group discount. (I think it's a few $ less.) Post a comment if you would like to go as a planned week during August.

I'm looking forward to getting back to a normal schedule again!

Playgroup for Moms update????

So when are we going to do our night out ladies???? Thursday or Friday??? I am a little confused. Well, that is not hard for me to do but thought I would see what the offical plans were or if there were any yet. I need to get my party attire ready and my hair "DID". LOL!!! j/k

ummm hellooooo???? i totally went to the pool last week and got stood up by everyone. doesn't anyone go anymore?? every wed and fri pool day right?? also-let's plan a trip to the children's museum soon. by the way--this blog thing isn't working that great to get in touch with everybody. let's just send out an email the morning of if there are changes. people don't check the blog much it seems. just an idea.

How about Playgroup at the PEAKS today??

Since Chelsie is out of town and so is Natalie Strickland and Natalie Burbidge moved, why don't we have playgroup at the Peaks for the rest of the summer?  Enough of us live here and there are two pools.  Let's make a decision on a place and time and try to stick with it.  Is anyone coming today?  I will either open the pool or let someone have my key, whenever they want to come.  Just let me know.  you can call me if you want to come 896-6151

Mountain's Edge anyone??

I am going over to Mountain's Edge tomorrow and thought it would be fun to go the water park. If anyone wants to go I will be over there around 10.

free tickets to the children's museum

hey everybody...fyi: if you go to the library and sign up for the summer reading program (for kids-not adults anjie) you can get tickets to the children's museum. and i don't care what people say about where it is. it's a kid's museum and it has cool stuff. all you have to do is read/spell/sing/ etc. with your kids 10 times. you win other stuff to-but 10 times will get you free tickets. so,,,,in a few weeks we're taking a trip to the museum. better hurry up. you don't want to miss out!

A kiddo needs help

Hey everyone. There is a kiddo at my work battleing luekemia. He is trying to beat the world record for the most business cards, which is 150,000. The cards can be from the same place as long as they have different names. It would be great if you get hit up family and friends for some cards. You can just give them to me at church. Thanks!!!

Hey what's the plan for Wednesday? The courtyards pool is open again. There was a problem with the filter and that is why it was shut down. I checked it out and it looks ok now. We can do that at 10am on Wednesday or does anyone else have any fun ideas? (Sorry, but we are just not into Veggie Tales. I know some of you love them and that is what is playing at the Rave.)

So rumor has it that on July 11th (7/11), you can get free Slurpees from the Sev from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Just thought I'd let you know. We're big Slurpee fans here at our house.

July 9th Playgroup

According to the Rave Motion Picture Theaters website, Town Square Movie Theater (The Rave) is showing Shrek 3 at 10 a.m. The boys and I are going if anyone is interested.

So, are we doing anything else? My community has a pool if anyone is interested. It's Tripoly @ Warm Springs South. The gate code is key key 1406

Courtyard Pool Closed

Get this ladies. I went to go check out the pool this afternoon thinking I would take the kids for a dip, and the pool has been closed by the health department until further notice! Kind of freaky thinking we took our kids there last week, but.... The pool door is chained shut along with a yellow sign on the pool indicating the health department will need to inspect the pool again.
