I have been meaning to post about this for awhile but I kept forgetting. Our family likes to go out to Boulder City and ride the train once in awhile, and the first 2 weekends in December they do a "santa train" and make it all Christmas-y. It's not the longest, most exciting train ride in the world, but they decorate it cute and Santa is there and it's fun for little kids. I think it's pretty busy, so if you decide to go you might have to wait a couple hours to get on.
If anyone else has good ideas of fun things to do this time of year, post about it!
